Hatch is a play gym that opened at the Podium Mall today. I learned about it from The Parenting Emporium’s post, but couldn’t really quite grasp what it is, that’s why we went on their opening day to find out! In their about page, this is what’s written: Opening up a world of options for kids with special needs • Open Gym • Open Play • Open Space • Classes out in the Open • Open to all Abilities I […]
MANILA FOR KIDS: BAMBIKE TOURS
My nieces living in California came for a visit, and we thought it was the perfect opportunity for our little family to finally try out one of the most famous tours in Intramuros, the Bambike Tours! Bambike Tours is a biking tour around Intramuros, and it ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 hours! Because we weren’t sure how our toddler would behave (we don’t normally bike around the city), we just chose the fastest option: one and a half hours of […]
MANILA FOR KIDS: PHILIPPINE AIRFORCE AEROSPACE MUSEUM AND AIRCRAFT PARK
My son loves helicopters. I believe it’s because he’s exposed to it almost everyday. We live near the City Hall where there’s a helipad, and almost everyday, we would hear a helicopter flying in and out. One time, he told me: “Mama, I want to ride a helicopter.” I remember about this air museum near the airport that I found out about way before I got married, but the thing is — I have never visited it. I finally had […]

We finally got to eat in Amare La Cucina in Baguio last December (it had been there quite a while, and had been on my list forever – but only […]

MY FAVORITE BOOKSTORES IN MANILA
When we think of bookstores in Metro Manila, three chains immediately come to mind: Fully Booked, National Bookstore, and Power Books. Actually, maybe Goodwill, too. I do go to those bookstores and enjoy my finds from there every now and then (especially Power Books in Podium, and Fully Booked in BGC), but there are other bookstores I really love visiting! Today, let me share with you my favorites (in no particular order) and why!:) 1. ARTBOOKS.PH Located along Pioneer Street, […]
